Meet the Team

K. Allen Blackmon, Jr. DMD

Dr. Blackmon was born in Ozark and grew up in Enterprise. After graduating from Enterprise High School, he attended the University of Alabama where he majored in Microbiology and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. He received his dental degree from UAB in 1991. After dental school, he completed a Gene​ral Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center and UAB hospital. Dr. Blackmon is also a veteran who served in the Alabama Army National Guard. 

Dr. Blackmon started our practice in Troy, in 1992. He and his wife, Gloria, have two sons, Tripp and Hunter, and a puggle named Otis. They are active members of the First Methodist Church in Troy and the Pathfinders Sunday School class. Dr. Blackmon is actively involved in the Alabama Dental Association, the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry and a past President of the Third District Dental Society.  He is also a member of The American Academy of Facial Esthetics.  When not in the office, you will likely find Dr. Blackmon at a local sporting event, in Tuscaloosa at an Alabama ball game, at the beach, or dining at a local restaurant with his wife. 

Zackery E. Eades, DMD

Dr. Eades attended Hewitt-Trussville high school before attending University of South Alabama. He graduated from the UAB School of Dentistry and has now moved to Troy and joined the practice.  Dr. Eades’ goal is to provide the care that allows patients to have the smile they have always wanted and deserve.  Providing confidence to his patients drives his passion for dentistry.  When not in the practice, you will most likely find him someplace outdoors hunting, fishing, camping or hiking.  He also helps his grandmother make blackberry jam each year.

I have been in the field of dentistry for 4 years, but became a part of the Oak Park Dental family in the summer of 2021. The most rewarding part of my job is developing long-lasting relationships with our patients, educating them on the importance of their oral health, and helping them maximize their full potential. Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my family and pups- traveling, hiking, and being on the water!

I joined the Oak Park Dental family in April 2023. Helping patients and working with a great team that truly cares is the most rewarding part of my job. In my free time, I enjoy running, going to the beach, and spending time with my grand babies.

I joined the Oak Park Dental team in April 2023. Interacting and connecting with patients is the most rewarding part of my job. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending my time reading, binge watching netflix, and taking care of my many pets.

Dental Hygienist 

I joined the Oak Park Dental team in March 2023, but have been in the dental field for 51 years. The most rewarding part of my job is when patients become friends and when Dr. Blackmon says, "Good job, Gena!". My time outside of the office consists of spending time with family, going to my grandsons football games, teaching bible study at my church, and enjoying each God given day!

I joined Oak Park Dental in 2023, but have been in dentistry for 10 years. Helping patients learn to love their smile again and educating them on oral health is the most rewarding part of my job. Outside of the office, you can generally find me at home with my family or off traveling with my husband. I enjoy painting or working on my cricuit.

I have been in the dental field for 25 years, but joined the Oak Park Dental team in 2018. Helping patients keep their smile beautiful and healthy is the most rewarding part of my job. When I am not in office, I love going back home to South Florida to visit my family. I also enjoy riding around on my golf cart with my dogs.

I joined the Oak Park Dental team in the summer of 2022 as a Dental Assistant. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to make a difference in someone's confidence. Outside of the office, I try to find joy in the little things in life. I enjoy group calls with my family, going to the gym, and painting!
